The Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission's mission is to promote aviation, which includes fostering the growth of the aerospace industry and ensuring that the needs of commerce and communities across Oklahoma are met by the state's 114 public airports that comprise the state’s air transportation system.

JANUARY COMMISSION MEETING CANCELLED!

The January meeting of the Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, January 8, 2009, at the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) has been cancelled. The Commission's next meeting will be held February 12, 2009, inside ODOT's first floor Commission Room. The meeting will begin at 10 a.m.

Aeronautics Moves Downtown!

The Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission recently moved its offices from Classen Park One at N.W. 36th and Classen, to the First National Center located at the corner of N. Robinson and Park Avenue in downtown Oklahoma City. The Commission's new address is:

All telephone numbers for the agency have not changed, which includes the Commission's main line, 405.604.6900, and fax, 405.604.6919.

Parking Instructions:
Option 1: Parking arrangements have been arranged for visitors to the new downtown location. Visitors will be able to park in the Main Street Parking Garage immediately south of the First National Center. Once in the parking garage, please take the parking garage elevator to the 8th level and then proceed across the covered walkway that spans across the alley connecting the parking garage with the First National Center. Once in the building (you will actually be on the 7th floor of the First National Center), continue on to the elevators and head to the 12th floor. The OAC is located in Suite 1244W. Upon completion of  business at the OAC offices, visitors will be provided a voucher that they can present to the cashier when they exit the parking garage.

Option 2: Visitors to the OAC also have the option of parking in one of the metered spaces directly in front of or adjacent to the First National Center; however, visitors will not be reimbursed for parking charges associated with this option. Those who choose to park in a metered slot should enter the First National Center through the west doors facing Robinson Avenue and then take one of the four west elevators located to the right immediately after entering the building. Continue on to the 12th floor and proceed to Suite 1244W.
